Hide and Seek

Hi, I'm the 4th Page,
We start off here with a game called hide and seek. It all starts here in the first chapter of Jonah. There was a group of mean, cruel, and nasty people called the Ninevites. God wanted Jonah to go to the people and tell them of their coming judgement unless they repented. Jonah wanted to 'play' as some little kids would say it, but we all know that Jonah didn't want them to get saved. He wanted to be rid of them. So he sails to the complete other direction, pays money, and leaves his friends and family just to make sure a nation would be destroyed. Jonah should of decided to play a different game 'cause God found him like we would find our index finger. God decides its time to put Jonah in the 'timeout' chair, and the timeout chair decides to be a fish. A giant fish. Now here is the real crazy part: It takes Jonah 3 days to find out in the stomach acid of a whale that he was wrong. 3 days. God has him vomited out (because the only other way out was through the gas tank) and Jonah goes to Ninevah. Jonah tells the nation of their judgement then goes out of the city probably getting a lawn chair, a Pepsi, and having a foam finger in his hand saying, "God's #1!" waiting for the city to go ka-boom. Okay, maybe not the whole lawn chair part and the rest, but he sat down and waited for the city to be wiped out, but little did he know that the city had repented of their sins and started to become righteous. Jonah was mad, he wanted to see the city be destroyed. Is it possible for a man to be angry at God's grace and mercy? Even when He had done the same for that person? It is, but it is certainly not right. Don't be like Jonah who had a second chance but got mad when the same was done for another. We all deserve 2nd chances. Take this to heart and have a blessed day.

JB 2.0

Hi, im the 4th Page,
Now I am taking a guess at what you are thinking. Why am i posting a Justin Bieber video on a christian blog? Look at the pop star's initials, and now the song called Pray. John the Baptist as we know has these intials JB. And is a believer which is way I have this little theme of these two guys. Of course as we know, John the Baptist was nothing compared to Justin. He couldn't sing, he may of had hair but nothing compared to Justin's. But in terms of emotional respones from listeners, they had a lot in common. Many loved John, and many love Justin. But we then get the Pharisees that hated John, and the jealous guys that hated Justin or whatever. Many people looked up to John though. He prepared everyone for the way of the Messiah. No matter what others thought of him, he knew what he had to do and followed God. John the Baptist was a great man. And he stayed faithful to God until the very end. Many times I wish I was like John just like how many girls wish they could be Selena Gomez. But if you want to live a life like John the Baptist and live for Jesus, just talk with one of your local pastors or family member and get started to live a faithful life for The Lord Jesus Christ. Have a blessed day,

WAIT! I Change My Mind

Hi, im the 4th Page:
Phones and Evil. That is what the blog is about today. Let us start on the phones; When you are at a store or mall or website that sells phones, you look and you cant make up your mind on which one to take. And when you make up your mind, you turn around and see a better deal. And of course, the cycle goes on and on and on. Your parent(s) will get a little impatient and decide to come another day if you don't choose in the correct amount of time that they give you. I think u now know what Abraham, the father of many nations, felt like in this part of the book of Genesis, the one where God comes down to earth with 2 angels to tell him about how his wife, Sarah, will have a baby and that he will destroy Sodom and Gomorrah. Abraham knew that his nephew Lot was living in the city at that time and he had compasssion over the city, despite the evil that the people there had commited. He asked God that if there were 50 righteous people in the city, he would not destroy the city. God Agreed to the deal. But Abraham put it to 45 then 40,30,20, and finally 10. God agreed to the deal......And he didnt find even 10. The two angels had Lot and his family leave. They all made it out but one. Lot's wife turned to see the city being destroyed, and she turned to a pillar of salt. We are like Abraham. We think we made the right choice, but then we look and see a better deal. Please do not turn out to be like the people in Sodom and Gomorrah. For they took the wrong path. Don't make those kinds of mistakes. Please talk with your local pastor or your parents if you want Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. Because He is the way, the truth, and the life. And He is your only way to eternal joy. Have a blessed day,

IT Ain't Over Until It's Over

Hi, Im the 4th Page:
Earthquakes. Tornadoes. Wars. Hurricanes.
Jesus said times like these would come. And they have been here, they have always been here. And the question always remains; "When will Jesus come back?". Nobody knows but God the Father. The question keeps growing so much that you have these 80 yr old pastors saying that they know when he will return. Let us start at Haiti. A 7.5 earthquake hits a 3rd world country. They are still trying to rebuild. Then Chili, Japan, and lots of dangerous tornadoes in the spring in the southwest America. Another earthquake hits Virginia and comes down to NJ. NOw, hurricane Irene is coming. And please dont get me satrted on the wars. In the book of Matthew, Jesus said these times would come. And it only gets worse after the rapture. So if you haven't decided to make Jesus your personal Lord and Savior, i ask you to make that desicion today. Just have a talk with your parents, deacon, or local pastor. Have a blessed day,

God's Force

Hi, im the 4th Page                                                                                                                                       In Star Wars IV, after they made it off Tatooine, Han Solo, put the ship into hyperspeed and they were safe at the moment. While aboard, Luke practiced with his lightsaber fighting a floating object hat would zap him and he would try to deflect the shots. When Han saw this he found it as joke that people belived in the force. Kenobi believed that the force was true. He then had Luke try to fight the object blinded, but he let the force help him and he did well. Han found it as luck, when it was time to go, Luke told Kenobi he had felt the force. Kenobi's reply was, "Well done, Luke, You have taken your first step in a much larger world." Han, in this scene represents the unbelievers in this world. Kenobi represents a well, firm in the faith christian. Luke represents an unbeliver coming to be a christian. And the force represents God. Look back at this story, and determine who you are. Are you a Han? A non-christian? A Luke? Or perhaps a Kenobi? Think this and remember, if you are a christian, you must remember that you have entered a much larger world. Have a blessed day,

Dont Starch Now!

Hi, im the 4th Page, and this is my blog, im just gonna start and get into it so here it goes:
Have u ever felt that life was like a corn maze? You walk in and then try to find your way out, its a simple concept, but as you get into it, you only find that it gets harder and harder. And i am quite sure that everyone has gone through the corn starches at least once. Well, im also quite sure this is what the Balaam and his donkey was going through in the book of Numbers chapter 22. As he went off on his donkey to 'curse' the the Isrealites that had come from Egypt that had now sent camp in Moab which was camped east of the Jordan River, across of Jericho; he stopped and stayed overnight at Balak's kingdom. (which is found in Moab) God warned him not to curse the Israelites in a dream, but Balaam did not listen; he got on his donkey and rode off. God was angry that Balaam didnt listen so he sent the angel of the Lord. The donkey saw the angel with a sword drawn, so the donkey bolted off the rode, Balaam being furious, beat it and the donkey went. The rode soon narrowed and the rode was in between to vineyard walls. The donkey again saw it and banged the foot of Balaam on the wall, Balaam whacked it again. The angel of the Lord got so far down the rode that it was too narrow to make it past the angel, so the donkey lied down. Balaam had enough and whacked him agian with his staff. The donkey finally spoke and spoke reason with Balaam, Balaam's eyes were opened and he saw the angel! He confessed of his sins and the people of Israel were saved! And thats how a donkey went into a personal corn maze! Everyone goes through them, life IS a corn maze, dont go through it alone, God has sent a way to go through it, if you except Jesus as your Lord and savior you will never be alone. Have a blessed day.
